good + good not necessarilly = better

Combining two good things doesn't always produce something better.
Example:
apricots (good)
heffewiezen beer (good)
apricot heffeweizen (not so good)

Really? Not good? I was just about to buy a pack the other day but ended up with the Sam Adams Celebration Ale because I was feeling festive. It's pretty bitter though.

Yeah, each taste is good on its own, but the combination is pretty strange. I guess its sort of growing on me after a few of them... I probably wouldn't buy it again.
